It was yet another Creepers Fall Foliage Run, and this one had a dissapointingly small turnout.

I showed up Friday night to a group of Xterras. Now, I want you to understand that normally I am not the type of person to put someone down because of what they drive. The way I see it, the whole four wheeling community needs to stick together as we are all after a common goal. These people may make me rethink that whole thing.

They started by parking all their vehicles inside the tent area which left us no room to camp. I was also overwhelmingly disgusted by their whole attitude towards their vehicles. There was more stupid, worthless bolt on crap on these things than you could imagine for no real purpose. I might even have been able to forgive that, but the fact that they were all wearing clothing to color coordinate with their vehicles just pushed me over the edge.

So, as they went to bed around 9pm, we started drinking. I am becoming a lightweight these days, especially when there is Southern Comfort involved, and only made it to around 2am. The rest of the group grew increasingly loud and rowdy until they finally gave in sometime after 4am.

On Saturday, we started off by running trail 2, where Mark had some electrical issues. We followed lower 3 to upper 3, until we managed to get him back to the campsite.

We than ran off to the west side where we ran all three sections of trail 12. Then we went off to play on Big Rocks and finished up by running part of trail 10.

Sunday, we started off by running the blue and black sections of trail 1. We hooked up with Matt and followed trail 2 to Crawler Ridge. After heading over to the west side to run trail 18, James had to head back to camp due to some transfer case leakage.

The rest of us ran upper 3, lower 3, and finished up by watching Matt climb some of the hills behind the office.
