Happick and AJ were up there testing out the new buggy Rob trying to figure out why the CJ7 wasn't running right Happick and AJ on the crete just a little chop of the last shot, to show the good stuff Dwayne on Yellow Jacket Ridge Dwayne on the start of Boot Hill Rob doing a little spotting just a poser shot of mine Dwayne on the rocky part of Boot Hill another of Dwayne, from a little further down the trail another poser shot Dwayne on a rough stretch of Boot Hill down by Lake Christy not sure what this stuff was in the water, but they looked like Jellyfish on Camelback poser poser more camelback down in the Quarry. Nothing to do when you are down there, but cool anyway Dwayne in the Quarry in the bowls across from trail 1 another in the bowls just wanted a shot of the group all together, but it doesn't show Rob's Jeep just sitting in traffic on 695. truckers said it was a biker that wrecked and had to be coptered out

Dwayne Climbing a Hill by Lake Christy

Got a couple neighbors from the neighborhood into wheeling, and finally got a chance to go wheel Rausch with them and one of their buddies.

My last time up there was right before the new camping area was opened, so while I had seen it, this was the first time I saw it in operation. Really looks like they stepped things up a bit, as it's just getting nicer up there.

Felt bad for Rob, who set this whole thing up, as his Jeep ended up needing to go back to the trailer after half a trail. He ended up riding with me, and I led the other Jeep in our group around.

Ran half of trail 4 (where Rob broke), then hit up Yellow Jacket Ridge. Went over to the South side to run Boot Hill and the rocky section of that trail. Did one of the hill climbs down by Lake Christy and went over to run Camel Back. Hit up Crawler Ridge on the way back to staging, and ended our day there.

Only downside is that it was a day trip. Been a long time since I've done one of those, and I had forgotten just how much it sucks to have to drive hours to the park, then hours back home after wheeling all day. Seriously, I'm just spoiled for camping and I think it'll be a while before another one day trip happens.
