a cool flat fendered, comp cut TJ. I am a sucker for red Jeeps and am also becoming a big fan of that large tire with low COG type builds fenders mounted to the hood for more clearance after spending time around Blakes CJ5, I am becoming a big fan of this color especially on a built Jeep taillights on an early 70's military Jeep gauges on that Jeep blackout light and here is that Jeep. the only one of these I have ever seen in person. I wish I had the M715 to enter as this Jeep was the only one in the military catagory early CJ early CJ Willy's station wagon Willy's pickup early CJ M725 tail end of the 725 side shot of the 725. I wish it had been parked somewhere else so I could have gotten some better pics 1941 GP 1947 3A on the left, and a 1947 2A on the right. CJ-8 in that same maroon color they tell me that this one wins the trail ready award every year. I've seen a pic of this one somewhere winch mount on a J-Truck this company sells frames and tubs so that you can build a classic Jeep from the ground up Superlift's Rock Fink just a random Jeep on the obstacle course I watched this YJ make a joke of the obstacle course inflateable TJ shot of the show another shot of the show. I needed a third shot to be able to get the whole view a pretty, but poorly built, TJ I saw in the parking lot. Skyjacker springs and a 3

The infamous PA Jeeps show.

This was a huge show with a ton of vendors.

I'm glad I went, but I find it hard to be impressed. By now, I have seen pretty much everything you can do to a Jeep. Lifts and big tires don't seem such a big deal anymore and there wasn't a lot of Jeeps that had done anything special. Of course, to be fair, had I shown my TJ it would have just blended into the crowd as well.

What I was drawn to were the old ones. The early CJ's, 1950's Willy's and the WWII-era Jeeps were what caught my eye. I already have more toys than I need, but I would love to have a flatfender to run around town in.

The big dissapointment was the lack of a single M715 at the whole show. I was excited with the thought of seeing another one in person, and was very let down when I couldn't find one. What they did have was a 725, but being parked behind the swap meet it was hard to get a good look at it.

There was also a lack of vehicles in the military class of the show. It was limited to a single vietnam era Jeep sitting in an empty section of the field. I was hoping to get an idea of some of the things going on with them for my own build.

I don't mean to make it sound like I had a bad time, because I didn't. It's just that I had hopes for what I wanted to see and was just a little dissapointed . It was a great show, but just didn't have the few unique catagories I was excited about.

I will go back again next year, and I bet I make it the year after that. However, I really hope to have my truck entered next year so I can enjoy showing it off.
